Based on proven ARC geometry, our Wavelength 2.0 coming this fall ’23 ( Expert XL and larger frames) gets the ARC c2’s new rear stays plus a new T47 bottom bracket. Yes, that’s a bold claim in a world of carbon fiber and integration. It’s not unreasonable when you consider the thought that went into every tube, weld, and feature on the Daylight BMX frame and how it translates into performance. Corben Sharrah could make a very good case for it as well. We think our InterLoc™ construction, purpose-driven hydroformed tubing, T47 bottom bracket, and slotted, modular dropouts, however, say it all on the race track.
INTERLOC™ CONSTRUCTION
Every tubing intersection on our frames is designed with our Interloc™ Construction philosophy. The key features are the connection of large tube profiles along with substantial tubing overlap which creates an exceptionally stiff, strong intersection. This is very visible at the head tube, but if you look at the seat-tube, top tube, seat stay joint, you will also see the extensive overlap of the tubes. It’s also visible at our drop-outs where the joints are angled to lengthen the contact area. The real heart of the bike, however, is the BB92 intersection. Here, the extra wide bottom bracket allows for full contact with our oversized down tube, flared and tapered seat tube, and the wide placement of the chain stays. Each and every element of the frame was designed for maximum contact, creating stiff, strong world class performance.
T47 – THE HEART OF THE BEAST
There is absolutely no place on a bike more important than the bottom bracket. It’s were the force and power of the rider is transmitted through the frame to generate speed and acceleration. Our ultra-wide 86.5mm T47 increases stiffness in two ways. First, by putting the widely spaced bearings directly into the frame for improved spindle integration, and second, with our InterLoc™ Construction. The wide, CNC machined bottom bracket is the heart of the most important intersection of tubes on the frame. Our oversized down tube converges with the bottom bracket and flared, tapered seat tube which is then connected to the extra wide chain stays to create a solid, incredibly reinforced, inter-locking convergence of tubes. MODULAR SLIDING DROP-OUTS
Wheel position and chain tension are extremely important. Being able to securely control these two variables is key. That’s why we designed our modular drop-outs. They not only allow the axle position to slide back and forth using an Allen head micro-adjustment screw, they also use offset bolts to lock the system in place. The angled positioning of the lock-bolts forces the slider to cantilever when force goes into the axle which prevents the system from slipping under power. Once you find your perfect position, you can take your wheel on and off without needing to readjust.

Hydroforming allows us to put the strength where it's needed most with variable wall thicknesses, transitioning shapes, and expanding diameters. Our Interloc™ Construction maximizes contact and overlap at the tubing intersections.

Daylight frames come in a full range of 20″ wheel (Mini to Pro 3X) and 24″ cruiser wheel (Junior to Pro 3X) sizes, as well as our Landslide 26″ wheel race cruiser. We also offer a Timeline 26″ dirt jumper in both small and medium/large sizes, and will soon be rolling out our all-new 29″ big wheel cruiser, the Mondo! Each frame is welded from premium 6061-T6 aluminum hydroformed tubing and CNC machined parts, and comes with an integrated sealed headset, sealed integrated bottom bracket, quick-release machined seat clamp, sliding vertical drop-outs with integrated disc brake mount, and internal brake cable routing. Frames are stocked ready to paint in your choice of colors and come standard with our 100% ceramic painted two-color finish (no decals or stickers are used on our frames).
