Compared to all those chunky carbon copies out there, the HERO Thunderbolt with its sleek lines and its machined + welded aesthetic screams American race muscle!
Our one piece steer tube/crown begins as a 3 pound/ 9″ long solid bar of aluminum that is 100% milled to size and spec. The legs are custom extruded and bent tubes, thin-wall and large diameter tubing for strength while saving weight. The coped joints are laser cut — meaning this entire fork is essentially machined with virtually zero gap between the welded elements. Our dramatcally angled drop-out interface is also forward thinking for greater weld area and greater strength. The result will be a ride that’s as stiff as any carbon fork while delievring a smoother feel on the track.
A fork that rides this good needs to look even better so obviously we designed the Thunderbolt to look great with our Daylight frames but also to look great with any frame. But being a Daylight product that also means, in addition to gloss black Cerakote with raw logos, the Hero Thunderbolt can be beautifully custom finished from our almost unlimited spectrum of ceramic colors. We’re even offering two different graphic looks— “Humble” for a subtle tone-on-tone graphic, or “Proud” for a bold, high-contrast style.
